Culpepper To Arizona??

Its being reported in a few places Daunte will be traded to Arizona for a #1 which will then be traded to sandiego for RIVERS. I was wondering how many of you would give up our #1 for CULPEPPER rather then take a chance on a ROOKIE?
How is this going to happen? The trade deadline has passed... If you're talking next year, why would Minnesota do this? Why would Arizona do this?? More importantly what the hell would San Diego do this?!?! This trade makes absolutely no sense and while I am aware it's being reported, it sounds made up. Why do some people actually think this trade is going to happen?? There's NO WAY...

I'm not sure if it'sbeen mentioned but we've had the trade deadline..

Im not saying this is certainly going to happen but why not? AZ needs a Qb and Culpepper is a allpro caliber Qb that Dennis Green trusts and has won with. Minnesota is going to have a reckoning after this season. I wouldnt be shocked in the least to see more than a few big names get traded and or released. Im not so sure about the first for Rivers trade but its not that far fetched either. Again not saying it will happen but its not that out of leftfield.

Is this based on that one thread which discussed a rumor? Now it's taken on a life of it's own I guess.

Dante has shown some weaknesses since Scott left, which makes me nervous. Say we get Dante, then Scott leaves, we'll have the same Dante that Minny has now. I'll take a rookie based on that.

His name is Daunte Culpepper...............

2 things here

1st off Daunte the sailor man had his contract with MN re-worked before the season began, I don't have the detail on hand but this might entail a huge cap hit for the vikes if they dealt him.

2nd the only thing Daunte had shown me without Moss is that he is not capable of effectively reading defenses and working around the coverages.

Who would be dumb enough to give up a high 1st rounder for the most overrated player in the game?

i too would take rivers.. what has daunte done in minnesota without moss?

Why lie? Our 3rd stringer who doesnt know the playbook has a better chance of pulling off a win then Vinny GreenBalls.

I seem to recall Vinny leading us to a win over Tampa then a week later tampa smashed the Dolphins. Maybe I'm mistaken

Yea Vinny "lead" your team with 0TDs and 1 INT. Nice leadership! Hes having a great year thus far with 0TDs and 4INTs.

Vinny was very good that game, numbers can be very deceiving(especially for Daunte last year), and set us up numerous times deep in TB territory.

cullpepper is amazing.

Amazingly overrated, I hope you guys get him.

one week has very very little to do with another... even you should know that... if A beats B and B beats C, that doesn't mean A is better than C in this league...

newsflash: gameplanning, matchups, timing, home field, momentum? heard of those?

as much as you're in denial over it, your green team is no better than miami this year... never was going to be...
