I know some of us here at Finheaven have speculated with this, but now with the increasing chance that Mike Vick will face legal troubles and consequently be suspended, Gregg Rosenthal from Rotoworld says that Daunte is the best alternative for the Falcons.

DC and Joey together again? Do you think we can send Mularkey also? Since Atlanta is a short flight away from 'Bama, even Satan can join them as a visitor.

I can really see that happening. This may very well be the impetus that gets this whole Trent Green issue resolved. It would hurt a whole lot less giving up a pick for Green if we were able to get a comparable pick in return for Culpepper from Atlanta.

WTF are the Falcons thinking? I mean do you think they watched your QBs and thought "wow, we need some of that?" And if I would go after any QB on your roster, I'd go with the Lemon.

Mr. Teflon (Vick) will escape the Goodell "fist of steel" punishment, IMO. I think his superstar status will allow him immunity from his latest transgression.

LOL. However, the one guy mentioned that will be like that "bad penny" is Mularkey. He's from Ft Lauderdale, so he'll always turn up eventually.

Maybe..but he may very well have more to worry about than the NFL. Whether or not the Surry Co. prosecutor is going to do anything seems to change each day. But I read that the USDA is also in on the invetigation. The USDA evidently is the federal branch that handles dog fighting cases. Kind of weird, huh?

i don't see how, if he is anywhere near as deeply involved in this as is being reported, he could conceivably be facing federal racketeering charges, with the gambling involved in dog fighting, it being on his property and his on-the-record denials.

as for C-Pep to the Falcons, hhhmmmmm, maybe we could trade with someone from a position of power for once. :)

The smartest thing for Atlanta to do and the dumbest thing for Miami to do would be to get rid of Culpepper. Maybe Trent Green can convince the Falcon front office to do what we wont do, and thats to pay anything for his sorry butt.

I think they'll have to have a color video of him in the pit releasing the dawgs before anything will happen to him.... and then it'll take about two years to develop.

This will be a true test on how much Mr. Goodell wants to clean up his league! It will be real telling on if he punishes Vick at all or just gives him a slap on the wrist.
