Culpepper Trade = Omar Jacobs in Day 2 of draft?

Anyone else thinks this move signifies the potential of taking Omar in Day 2? Omar appears to be similar to Pep in style and build, and it would be a great mentor/apprentice type deal going on, wherein Omar wont neccesarily supplan Culpepper, but could if needed...

I disagree. I still think Saban and Mueller would like to draft a young QB and let him learn under Culpepper. Culpepper is almost 30 I believe. Jacobs would be a good choice.

i dont see miami drafting a qb until the second day .....what about cleo lemon? you never know....


imo we need some serious attention to our secondary and more oline depth....mawae woulda been awesome, but i trust houck to find some diamonds in the rough

Are you guys aware Miami has now used TWO 2006 draft choices to get a QB (Daunte & Cleo), why would they use a third when we still have so many needs on defense? Maybe one more big time addition on the offense through the draft, but i think every draft choice now is going defense.
