Culpepper trade worst offseason move (SI.com)

Well we won't know until next year. I don't blame all this on Culpepper I mean that line did not block at all when he was in and he was not healthy so we won't know until next year.

Brees, the MVP? There's this guy, he's called LaDainian Tomlinson. He disagrees.

A reminder: SI said we were going to the Super Bowl. What the heck do they know, besides how to jinx teams?

We gave up a 2nd round pick in last years draft for him, with no production from the man we acquired with it this season.

So yes, it goes down as the worst off-season move of 2006.

Ouch, that is outrageous. I think Culpepper will be a good option in the future. I am happier with Pepper, and Harrington, than I would be with Brees.

I think this is a case of 'hind-sight is always 20-20'. If I'm not mistaken, most places were calling it a smart move in the off-season (could be wrong, I dont pay a lot of attention in the off-seaosn). Sure, its easy to say it was a bad call at this point, but what does that accomplish? And I am also with the group that says we havent seen what he's fully capable of yet, anyway.

SI called it the best offseason move during the summer. :rolleyes2

Yeah, but this off season is coming to fast which sucks but it is what it is.Meaning that C-Pep will be healthy for next season. It will work out for the best.

Hindsight is always 20/20 but I will get chaztized for saying, and look up my previous posts if you want, but I think Culpepper sucks for our team. I just don't think he is as good as people think. He was as much hype as our season was.

Yeah seriously. They are just pissed off that they picked the Dolphins to get to the Super Bowl in their stupid preseason predictions. They are just covering their ***, even if they are right.

Did you guys see that pic of Danica Patrick to the right of that article, damn!!!!

Sorry off topic.:cooldude:

Looking at it from this year's perspective, yes, it does look like a bad move. But if Daunte is healthy next season and is able to play well, we can flush that SI article down the toilet.
