Am I the only one who can see he isn't ready to play???? The knee is still clearly a problem. This team is not a serious Super Bowl contender, so why not let Joey play until he is truly ready to go. Daunte doesn't need to prove anything more. Been reading the board for a couple years, good to finally post here.

Finally after Culpepper gets a little bit of rythm you think he should sit on the bench for a little while.

They wont let Joey play because he'll make Daunte look like garbage.

1) Lets add a little more detail to our posts titles besides Culpepper
2) Lets not create a new thread talking about the same thing the other 1000 threads are.
3) Why sit him after a W?
4) Would you like to start Joey Harrington who has already shown what he can do under pressure? (see Detroit Lions)
5) The O Line is doing poorly as well. Lets bench them too.
6) Secondary does some shoddy things sometimes, lets bench them too.
7) That damn Mare missed a field goal....lets benchem. Let Welker kick all the FGS!
8) Lets try and have a lil patient guy. It'll be alright.

Well, Welker fumbled that punt yesterday...so we might have to bench him too. So, for #7, we're gonna need someone else to kick field goals. Perhaps we can pull Vick off the PS to do it??!

Easy fellas....not trying to start a controversy. I would hate to see him get hurt again because of our OL play. By the way, I'm not saying to bench him but to let him heal. He is simply not ready and is a rather large investment. Yes, I believe we should let Welker kick...kidding.

If one of them were rehabbing an exceedingly serious injury and not performing, darn right I would. Welker and Mare are not injured- your point is weak at best.

You're right, and it's just that simple- Culpepper is not ready to play. We're very lucky to not be 0-3. p.s. Welcome aboard.

Earth to jim1....its called sarcasm. Either you totally missed it or I really suck at dishing out sarcasm.

They are not going to bench DC now, if they were going to do that, they would have started the season with JH. That would have been the best way to deal with this situation. Start JH for the first 5 or 6 games, then by that time DC would have been ready to play. They chose not to do that, for what ever reason, so now they will leave him in no matter what, unless he gets hurt. Thats the bottom line, so deal with it. They did'nt get him (DC) here to sit on the bench. They chose him over Drew B. based on medical advice from their doctors, so he is the QB now and for the next 5 years.

JJW1339 - I agree with Nick for going with his gut on this one but I am also worried that that knee is not healed and is at risk for a bigger injury. It is like suicide being behind that line.

If we bench Welker we might not win another game this year. :(

He's the one guy who consistantly shows up. I know you're kidding, but he is the heart of our team...

Oh man, I'm not serious about benching welker. Obviously my sarcasm skills suck somethin awful and its time for me to hang up that aspect of my posting ability.

I agree with you on that!! Joey isnt crap, and Daunte will be fine in time, but to want to bring in Harry boy?

Things must be bad when people are saying that Jeoy Harrington is their savior!!:goof:
