Vikings | Culpepper Reveals Details of Knee Problems
Tue, 4 Oct 2005 09:46:45 -0700

<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/9">ESPN.com reports Minnesota Vikings QB Daunte Culpepper (knee) has played the entire season with a sprained MCL and bursitis in his right knee. While the injury is painful and limiting, it should not force him to miss any action. Culpepper said there is swelling and pain, but he is going to push through the injury. Through four games, Culpepper has thrown four touchdown passes while tossing 10 interceptions - he threw just 11 interceptions in 2004. He has also been sacked 20 times this season.

.....and now it's time for excuses as to why he now shows what a real QB he is without Cris Carter and/or Randy Moss on his team

my first thoughts exactly....

oh c'mon....he never said anything before.

C'mon now... of course he's not going to be the same QB w/out Moss. No quarterback would be. Moss is the best receiver in the game. Culpy has started out not so well but at least 3 of those interceptions are because of tips or WR's not running their routes correctly. Culpepper is a great QB w/ an amazing arm capable of throwing the deep bomb right on the money. He's even tighter because he's a UCF alum.
