I don't think i've seen this brung up yet...

I think Culpepper has a great chance to grab it especially if he puts up good numbers...I don't see other real competetors (spelling?) besides Deuce McAllister and Javon Walker.

i think mcnabb might be contending also, but i think he would be more unlikely.....i think pep has a great chance if he plays good.

i think you're right. if he's 100% healthy and will be healthy all year long and with all the weapons around him (chambers, booker, hagan, campbell, mcmichael, brown...) then he has a great chance to be the comeback player of the year! :cooldude:

Given the type of injury and how serious it was..... oh hell..... he's already got my vote from what I've seen so far in training camp.

Drew Brees will probably win. He won it once without deserving it.

Brees, Palmer, R. Harrison, Pennington (unlikely), and Jamal Lewis are also candidates.

Yeah there are actully quite a few candidates. Does T.O get added to this list also? I mean he did miss quite a few games last year. I think Daunte should win it but he has some pretty stiff competition.

Spikes, baby.

There is no way T.O. wins, even if he sets records. The CPOY award is given to guys that have great seasons after serious injuries or professional setbacks (poor play, etc.). I would be shocked if "complaining about your team, coach, and Pro Bowl QB to the point where they kick you off the team" would fall into either of those categories.

Good point.
