If the arbitrator rules in favor of Culpepper, Miami will more then likely cut him. But, if Miami win's, then what? Will Culpepper agree to a trade? Will Miami wait until the beginning of the season to cut him?

I know we'll have these answers soon enough. I just wanted to get some predictions. What do you think?

If DC wins we will either trade or release him depending on trade partners/ market value...If Miami wins we will either trade or release him depending on trade partners/market value...This law suit is pointless and a waste of time

First its not a law suit its a grievance over the parameters of his contract. The NFLPA rep believes that excluding him from team drill is against the intent
of his contract. If Daunte wins the Miami will have to make a decision as to whether to let him practice and wait out a trade or release him to avoid taking any chances

What is your second point? Law suit, grievance, whatever..I know the stipulations of the grievance and what will happen if Daunte wins or if Miami wins...And you are absolutely right about this point, and if Miami wins they will have to make the same decision, the only difference is he wont be practicing with the starters...The outcome will be same regardless of who wins..Daunte will not be with the team at the start of the season. Thats my point...

Aren't you guys sick of this topic anymore...Even if I were a supporter I couldnt wait until he was far away from this team just so we can all get on with more exciting things to talk about...This topic has been beaten to death man..Death

Oh just wait my friend it won't be very long before all the DC supporters
start bashing our starting QB Trent Green. :fire:

It's only the entire crux of the greivance. There have been other threads which have gone into a lot of detail on the contractual nuances, but dlockz kindly gave you the abridged version. The long version goes for several pages.

As for the outcomes, I think DC's position is that since the intent of the contract has been voided and that the remainder of the contract that is unfulfilled should be voided and he should be released unconditionally immediately. We will hear more about what each party is specifically requesting after the hearing, but both sides are playing their cards close to the chest at the moment.

It is business as usual for the organization.

We are preparing for the season with our starting QB Trent Green.

Dont worry you will be bashing trent green next year when he refuses to help us trade him.

I'm a friggin Dolphin fan and believe me we have not been a perfect organization. Ask Czonka, Scott, Marino. big deal I will still pull for us to win even if we sign Dre Bledose to be our new starter.

Hopefully they will take their sorry act to the board of whatever team he goes to and leave this one to DolFans to talk about the Dolphins.

Won't happen, as we will not be looking to trade him.

How many people thought we would be trading daunte after trading a second for himlast year. Exactly nobody said that on this board. If Beck is ready why keep paying Green millions esp if he does not play well.

You can't compare the two. Daunte was still a ?? at the begininng of Training Camp last year. TG is fully healthy, despite what the DC flock wants to think. Green will be well worth it, as he mentors Beck. DC I believe will struggle to catch on somewhere as his knee is still not fully healthy.
