Let me start out saying i hope and pray culpepper starts the first game of the season,but my concern is this.Will poole tore just his acl way before dc injuried himself and will is 95 percent back to his old self after all this time.Im no doctor and not starting anything here but dc tore his acl mcl and pcl i think its called.Do you think he can really be ready? I know kb is in the medical field if your out there give us your thought. Thoughts?

Good point. I'm interested to see what the more "medically inclinded" have to say about this. I'm guessing that Culpepper would be able to play earlier, though, because he doesn't have to be 100%. Cornerbacks rely on their knees far more than Quarterbacks.
 
IN REALITY I DONT THINK THAT HE SHOULD START THE SEASON. 1 NICE HIT AND IT IS OVER. MY THOUGHTS... PICK A GOOD BACKUP...:tantrum: :dolphins: :tantrum:

I feel that a QB is based on his arm, hands, fingers.
But movility is a key to sucess, so i can't imagine DC without a healthy pair of legs, and i'm worried that just because of hurring his recovery we finish with his carrer.
 
WIll Poole is running constantly in a game. Pep drops back and throws. He doesn't have to run if he doesn't have to. His running is a luxury but he is a good pocket passer. Also, some guys simply heal faster than others. I'm not so worried about if Pep will be back for the first game. I think we'll have a servicable back up who will be able to step in a manage the team and let the talent around him win games.
 
I don't think they'll play him if he's not ready. He's progressing ahead of schedule and is planning to be ready for opening day.

If you ask me I would prefer that Daunte doesn't play the entire season for a full-healing...

Eventhough we have a great team and with a good backup QB we should make it..., the only thing that concerns me is that this year is the SuperBowl at home and I would love to see Pepper winning it...
