CULPEPPER TO MISS MOST OF THE YEAR?
As speculation continues regarding the question of whether Dolphins quarterback Daunte Culpepper will be ready at the start of the 2006 regular season, we're hearing increased rumblings that Culpepper might not be able to play at all this year.

how come i Have a feeling this is gonna be ONE of the times where everyone jumps on Florio's back and says he is clueless and the website is trash???

Yet, when he types POSITIVE stuff about Miami the site is great and he is right MOST of the time. LOL

Homerism-Yesterday when they bad mouthed the Bills,I
thought great website,Today,after that article,they're
crap....at least I'm honest.

It's a total BS Rumor

Look at yesterday's article.....Culpepper feels he will be ready for game 1!
To many people want to bash him...I hope he sticks it to all non-believers and has a great season....Fins 06: 11-5!:fire:

Those guys just have a big old poop cannon, and they just load it full of poop every day, fire it up against the wall, and see how much of it sticks. Their "sticking percentage" may have risen a little recently compared to the past, but at the end of the day, their site is mostly just a lot of poop running down a wall.

PFT Article: Negative Speculation Nothing More

Hello Fellow Fins Fans: :dolphins:

I don't know where PFT gets there info from  It's baffling :shakeno:

Here are two articles from CBS Sportsline and Fox Sports that directly contradict this article:

http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9369694

It looks like PFT didn't have any new NFL news to write about, so they decided to create some negative spin on Duante's return.....

I know what your saying cause I've seen it happen like 100 times here before, but C"MON....
HOW IN THE WORLD when everybody on the planet including surgeons, doctors, teams, players, physical therapists all say he should be ready to play around October-AT THE LATEST...How in the world does PFT, (a site which is notorious for making up FACTUALLY INCORRECT CRAP AAALLL THE TIME) all of a sudden have an "INSIDE SCOOP" which is TOTALLY CONFLICTING with EVERYTHING that EVERYONE else who KNOWS about these things??! In other words, Daunte is ahead of his recovery, yet according to these jerks he's most likely to miss the entire season?? Get outta here with that!

YEs, people do praise PFT when they speak well about the Fins & people also bash em when it's negative....But how should people react when they spew out such OBVIOUSLY BS DRIBBLE out of their keesters??!

Makes me wonder if they got it from this source saying that Daunte could return later. Where even in this article its speculation and they don't have anything different than any other report. They are speculating on Daunte coming back later because he said "he wanted to be smart about it" and not go out too early and reinjure it.

While this rumor may be stretching it a bit, it may have some merit. The injury suffered by Culpepper is very bad. Look at Will Poole, he admits he isn't all the way back after tearing a ligament in May of last year. Daunte basically tore everything there is to tear in his knee, five months after Poole did. Can we realistically expect him back in time for the opener? I really hope so, but have serious doubts.

With expectations for this season sky-high (too high in my opinion, last year at this time we were the dregs of the league, now we are a darkhorse for the Super Bowl), we need to face the fact that someone like Tommy Maddox is going to have to steer the ship for a significant amount of time. However, I like a lot of others have complete faith in Saban.

Would Saban make the investment in Daunte if he knew there was even a slight possibility he would not play this year? I might believe it if he was still on crutches or something. But he isn't even walking with a limp.
