Here are Culpepper's career stats against our division rivals and our 2006 sched (dates TBA) that I have compiled. Also keep in mind that this was with Minnesota over the course of several years and that teams do change on a seasonal basis.

For his career, his records against AFC East opponents:

vs Buffalo
2 games
QB rating:100.7 / Completion %:56.8 / Yards:532 / Yards per game:266.0 / TDs:6 / Ints:1
Rushing:13 /Rush Yards:49 /Rush yards per game:24.5 /Avg:3.8 /TDs:1
Sacked:5 /Sacked Yards:45
Fumbles:4 /Fumbles Lost:3

vs New England
2 games
QB rating:84.8 / Completion %:55.8 / Yards:449 / Yards per game:244.5 / TDs:4 / Ints:1
Rushing:17 /Rush Yards:118 /Rush yards per game:59 /Avg:6.9 /TDs:0
Sacked:8 /Sacked Yards:24
Fumbles:2 /Fumbles Lost:1

vs New York Jets
1 games
QB rating:56.4 / Completion %:66.7 / Yards:288 / Yards per game:288.0 / TDs:0 / Ints:3
Rushing:5 /Rush Yards:26 /Rush yards per game:26 /Avg:5.2 /TDs:0
Sacked:0 /Sacked Yards:0
Fumbles:0 /Fumbles Lost:0

So Culpepper seems to be owned by the Jets, fair against the Pats, and owns the Bills (who doesn't?). Not too bad.

Of course, against Miami he went for 5 ints and 1 TD in 2 games, sacked 7 times and fumbled 5 times with a 67 Qb rating. But we won't have to worry about that now, do we? :cooldude: As long as Culpepper can stay healthy, decrease the Ints and fumbles, he should do fine.

Forgot to add analysis for the other non-AFC East teams so here goes:

Jacksonville: A pretty good showing 2 years ago, not too spectacular but if translated to our team, should be enough for a W.
Tennessee: Got sacked quite often but put up respectable stats.
Green Bay: Culpepper seems to like Green Bay, hope that continues
Minnesota: Obviously there's no stats here but I'd expect Culpepper to be properly motivated
Indianapolis: Played for 1 full game and was limited in the other. Indy's upgraded since then so a tossup
Chicago: they've had Culpepper's number for some time especially last season
Detroit: See Green Bay
Pittsburgh: This was a long time ago and things have mostly changed. But he could still have trouble with an improved Steeler's D on the road.

Well, it's under the assumption that the QB is the leader of an offense so what that offense does is reliant on the QB play. He did play against them as those are his stats even though the supporting cast is different and the opponent's skill may or may not be different.
