All this speculation about Harrington, Collins, Maddox is like a merry-go-round. If anyone knows specifically about the condition of Culpepper's knee and when he'll realistically be back on the field, let's hear it. Because if he's expected to miss camp and a few games then I doubt a career back-up like Maddox is our guy and we're probably looking for starting caliber guys like Collins and Harrington, who've had some adversity and have something to prove. Also, anyone know Mueller's analysis on Harrington coming out of college? That could tell us a lot. Thanks in advance.

Saban's keeping people guessing the way Belichick does with his players' injury reports. I'd rather get Collins than Harrington since it won't involve us losing a draft pick for what is essentially a stopgap for a few weeks.

Will Collind and Harrinton be willling to take a reduced role here in Miami after being the guys on their previous team?

Especially Harrington who is still young, you'd think he'd want to go somewhere where ha can start over.

they know what they are in store for if they sign here... being number 2

That's the thing. If the Ravens and Fins are both trying to get him for bargain $, then he might want to go to the Ravens because he stands a better chance at getting the start for more of the season. Face it, Culpepper wasn't brought in to sit. Once healed, he's likely in for the season.

hypothetically, say culpepper doesn't play until week 6ish... our back-up (i'm leaning towards harrington who is young, has potential and could use a change of scenery) lights it up like noboday's biusiness... do we continue to sit culpepper?
