Culture

Vrabel has a 54.5% career winning percentage. We should definitely follow his culture building style.

McDaniel only has a disappointing 54.9% career winning percentage.

#sarcasm
He took a team with Ryan Tannehill (highest passer rating in the NFL that year) to the AFCCG, including beating Brady’s Pats at Fuxborough in the playoffs…then their GM proceeded to shanking the roster. How did we do against him at Tennessee again?

WTF does that have to do with you saying just hand them the Lombardi now?

Were you serious about that? Sounded like sarcasm, to me. If not, it was damned irrational.

not really the point of the OP. if you believe the culture of the dolphins is productive and doing things the way they do will lead to a deep playoff run or super bowl, you are entitled to your opinion. personally i believe the organization needs more discipline, more leadership from key players, and more overall oomph and drive. they need more of what vrabel was trying to deliver in his message. if you think summer camp works, i guess you are in agreement with the dolphins and you wouldn't change a single thing about how they do business. as an aside, i would 100% rather have vrabel as the coach than mcdaniel. i think your analysis was stilted and you left out the two year playoff run including making it to the AFC championship game. this compares to our zero playoff wins.

I mean I said nothing about Miami. Miami’s culture is **** and I mentioned titans went on a run. What is missing is that you also need a talented roster. Vrabel had a team with the best rb of the last decade, a top 5 wr, a very good offensive line and very talented defense. He had both the culture and roster yet still didn’t accomplish much at the end of the day, was a solid run yet 3 years later they are the worst team in football and he was there for 2 of them.

that is an odd comment. they will win some games, and lose some games. at the end of year we will have a scoreboard and a body of work to evaluate. maybe you are of the expectation that they will go 11-6 and win a playoff game? we will see how things look on the field of play. body of work for the last two years suggests the team and the culture are soft. most often punched in the face by good teams when it matters most. their own actions (ergo how they behave) also suggests the coach and some of the key players are soft. until they disprove that notion, the organization is soft. heck, the players that leave here tell you the place is soft. but think of the upside, it earned them an A+ report card!
That was exactly my point. After individual games we lose we shouldn't blame the culture, right? Let's wait until the body of work has competed, makes sense.

Pretty sure that's not how it's going to play out though, but glad you understood the sentiment

Kinda like mcdummy is involved in the defense?? Oh that's right, he doesn't do **** with the defense.

Yeah the HCs are SUPPOSED to be involved with everything, but a lot of them aren't. And if YOU'RE so smart, you would know that

Not sure what McDaniel has to do with anything? I never even mentioned his name prior to you bringing him up in the last two post. Yes he is responsible for the defense. Never claimed he wasn’t. I made a statement on what coaches are responsible for.

Focus.

if you think miami's culture is garbage, then we agree, and therefore i have no idea what you are ranting about.

That would be fair if culture wasn’t already concretely established as a problem, contributing to lack of success and reliable excellence.

To be fair, we beat that same NE team in Foxborough the week before during the 5-11 Flores year.

I've just never been a fan of Vrabel and his line of coaches. So far the moves he's made in NE are uninspiring. Maybe he'll do great things, but aside from a couple years of having a HOFer Derrick Henry run wild he was pretty average as a coach.

Talking about Vrabel being a mediocre coach besides having “culture”

Vrabel actually seems like is a solid coach. But if he was the Phins head coach and finished 7-10 and 6-11 in back to back seasons with Derrick Henry on the roster, Finheaven would want him fired. And I bet many who complain about McDaniel being soft would probably complain about Vrabel being too rigid and uncompromising. Or come up with some other singular/simplistic reason why he needed to go.

You were literally making the argument the HC is involved in everything including the development of the qb. Is mcdummy not our HC?

Only one stupid here is you as you are injecting McDaniel into a conversation in which I never even mentioned McDaniel….

Like what are you even talking about….
Your out here arguing the HC is involved in developing the QB...

Are you not bright enough to realize we have two different convo's going on at the same time?

Ok one at a time then pumkin
