There's a small chance that if the team goes 3-14 (it's 17 games now, right?) Chris Grier's seat might get hot. That's vastly preferable to another first round playoff implosion.

Huh? I haven't seen any of that. And he's a 2nd generation black QB. He's not one of the Vick types that you're talking about, who's actually a RB who thinks they're a QB. You can include Tim Tebow in that 1st generation eventhough he's white.

He may be over hyped, but only because of the weak competition he's faced so far.

The team as constructed is awful. The starting qb is very accurate and extremely fragile and immobile.. he’s a good qb if you can keep him upright. They decided to not invest in the offensive line and draft an undersized edge rusher who doesn’t do much early. They then took a project tackle who is a redshirt with a glass left tackle who never plays half a season.
They have no tight end or third receiver so they are reliant on waddle and cheetah. They have berrios and some dubise guy nobody wanted.
They backed Jo the truck for Ramsey, they decided they Skylar Thompson was a god backup knowing their qb is always hurt. Imagine watching Skylar every day for 2 years and deciding he’s the guy tj backuo glass Tua. The entire thing stinks keep seiler holland Phillips Ajax and waddle and blow this **** up.. the teams bag win in January have good corn stable string QBs who can move, and real red zone options not a bunch of midgets..
the coach can’t get a play in he can’t think ahead. He calls a play and has no clue what the next play is based on how the play may go. He kicks a fg on 4th and 1 from 57 yards then punts in the same scenario on 4th and 12 down big. He’s so in over his head it’s insane. He uses timeouts like it’s candy because he can’t get a play in. He built a team in his image. Soft but flashy when it’s all good. He’s a total clown show, got hired off Shannahan and has no idea what he’s doing in game. He saw what happened last year a and doubled down on A soft team with no offensive line, but don’t worry he’s scouting edge rushers and running backs for next years draft

I want to tank and have a new GM.

I suppose that makes sense. But we need a line for sure. RBs and receivers are good. TE would help.

I think the D just needs to spend more time on the bench instead of playing 3 quarters.

This offense isn’t going to win a game without Tua. We are staring at 1-4 when, hopefully, Tua comes off IR against AZ. That makes the margin of error zero the rest of the year. That means going on the road to win big games in Dec which has been our Achilles heel dating back to at least the early 90s. Best case scenario we win in historic fashion to cap the regular season and have to travel through the playoffs to Buffalo, KC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, New York, whatever. All of this is extremely unlikely and we finish the year with the most expensive and oldest roster with nothing to show for it.

Tua ain't gonna make it..his fragility is a ongoing thing that won't stop happening
 
No one’s getting fired if Tua misses all or the majority of this season. They’ll get a pass due to that.
