so let me get soemthign straight, if we get ashworth then its...

LJ
James
Hadnot
Carey (is this his original spot? as they said put the player sback into their strenghts, isn't he a PBlocker more then a RblockeR?)
Ash

I actually think it's a strange line. It's almost backwards to how it should be as Ashworth, Carey should be on the left. I just don't see the point of Ashworth as much as other people do. I'd much rather have Jeff Mitchell.

to me it seems odd. seems like we have 3 GUards playing the front. who is mitchell? was that the panthers C?

A line of Shelton, James, Hadnot, Carey, and Ashworth looks amazing. Especially with Houck holding the clipboard.

Probably, but Carey is equally good at RT and RG....Ashworth hasn't played G since college...I don't know if we'll go after him or not tho...The money could be better spent picking up a CB or S or even Peterson or Arrington...

I'd like the line they're talking about.
Shelton
James
Hadnot
Carey
Ashworth
but is not set on stone, first we have to get Ashworth.....if not then we could get a center and move Hadnot back to guard and then the line would be more like this,
Shelton
James
free agent
Hadnot
Carey

Ozzy rules!!

Ashworth shouldn't be playing on the left side any. He's got good footwork, but he lacks the lateral agility to be a full time left tackle. Ashworth is a right tackle all the way, but he isn't your typical right tackle. He's not the big, powerful, road grading blocker that you typically see at right tackle. He's more of a wall off, position blocker that understands blocking angles and uses them to his advantage. He doesn't have a lot of ability, but he is one of those guys that gets the most out of what he has.

IMO, he's an OK guy to sign for the short term, but in the long run, a guy like Anthony Alabi or possibly a draft pick like Winston Justice will beat him out.
