Nice info but not sure completely accurate. NE has been running a 4-3 for about 2 years. They use some three man fronts, but their base has been a 4-3. Atlanta is also moving the a 3-4 this year, of course as we all know with Nolan he will run four man front other than nickle situations but the base will be a 3-4.

As far as Miami goes not sure on the multiple. I know we were told they would run multiple, but very, very rarely are they not in a four man front.

FBG did a great job years ago when their staff was manageable. For whatever reason, they've tried to be all things to all football fans, making them good at nothing. Their staff numbers exploded, they dropped some of their best features from years past (like The Big Picture) and now all they do is publish dreck. Bryant is completely hands off and all Dodds does is gamble (he can't even finish his gambling blog). The originals here are letting the newbs take over and they suck. Long story short, I wouldn't trust anything they publish, this aint your father's footballguys.

That could be so, but it's odd because it's a new article. The focus is on the new DC's, so maybe they've gotten some of the existing defensive schemes wrong, but I haven't looked too much into it so I can't say. You have a point with Atlanta, especially since they picked up Soliai, and Nolan obviously wants to run a 3-4, but until he makes the transition, it's not considered that yet. As far as NE, I don't think they run a pure 4-3.

We could not stop the run with our LB's. Not surprising that we had to run the 4/3...less LB's on the field. The strength last year was in theory the dline...and they played below expectations at times as well.
