We might be able to sign someone like amani toomer who still a free agent and could help our young receivers mentally.

Who do you see on the list that you'd like the phins to bring in.

Also derrick brooks is a free agent.

I know these guys aren't young but they could give us some depth just for a year.

There is a couple of free agent OL i would like for depth. Take a look....

I think we should add Boss Bailey just b/c with his speed he is great to have on Madden.
 
Napoleon Harris. We need the depth at ILB. As alluded to in another thread earlier today, if we have an injury at ILB we are royally screwed. I'm not even sure he can play inside in the 3-4, but he has to be an upgrade over Torbor.

Finnally someone old enough to understand this thread.

I agree we are thin at the ILB Linebacker position.

Anybody is an upgrade over torbor. He didnt do jack last year.
 
I'd take a look at Jon Runyan and Mark Tauscher, both O-linemen

I never really saw Torbor play enough for better or for worse to be that upset with him. I'm still enamored with some of the things he did when the Giants were making their run.

Jon Runyan is not a kid but i think he has something left and would be a decent backup....Guard.

Our starters, Long, Smiley, Grove, Thomas, Carey..........If thomas can play hopefully. They say he is 100 percent as we speak. So is smilley.

Thats a solid 5. Then we have EK, Alleman , Murphy and the rookie as backups and that leaves a lot to be desired.

EK and Alleman played last year when smilley and thomas went down with injury but they were a huge drop off. I say we need better depth.

Who knows maybe Andrew Gardner can come up strong. He is listed as a tackle maybe he can play guard. He is 6'7 over 300 LB.

There is a reason that a lot of these guys are still out there. They are either too old or not very good. You know when you walk into a building of any kind and you always see that "Break glass only in a emergency" thing that carries firefighting equipment? Well, the free agent market as it currently stands is pretty much like that. Unless something goes REALLY bad, REALLY quickly that is when you bring some of these guys in. Otherwise, I stand by my original statement: "They all suck."

Other than maybe a McKenzie or Surtain, no one interests me. I believe we're in a position to wait for team's final cuts where we may pick up a couple of players who are better and younger.

Also, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I think other team will be looking at our final cuts. What a difference a year makes? :)
