I know Anthony Fera is just there on a try out basis, but I would like to see them sign him to the 90 man roster for training camp. While I don't think Sturgis should be replaced, I think he needs some competition and heat.

and he can do both Kick and Punt. Kid has a leg

Spartans' Micajah Reynolds now trying out with Dolphins

Micajah Reynolds gave offense a shot, but now it’s back to defense in his quest to make an NFL team.

Reynolds confirmed to the Free Press that he has an opportunity at defensive tackle with the Miami Dolphins, after the New Orleans Saints waived him earlier this week. Reynolds (Lansing Sexton) will be in Miami for a rookie minicamp that runs Friday through Sunday.

At his pro day, Reynolds came in at 6'4" 327, ran a 5.11 40 and did 32 bench press reps.

position switches...always the kiss of death...last ditch effort type of stuff...kinda like when miami said last offseason around this time kaddu would be working to become a win edge pass rusher...

i knew he was toast

This guy was going to sign with the Patriots as a DT. He should have taken that offer over his old coach with Saints wanting to experiment, but I understand.

oh well then maybe...those position switches rarely work out though i know that

IT is very rare to make the switch from offense to defense post college....

I have updated the rookie camp roster. Missing about 7 guys among the tryout players.

Chris Burnette OL UGA intrigues me.

He is a Guard who could provide depth, but, will probably need to start out on the PS.

Seen him play quite a bit being a UGA graduate. He is probably a better run blocker.
