Check out this awesome article! I know we have to play the games and things sorta have to go our way a bit when it comes to NE...but GEEZ!!!!

We're only in the 2nd year of rebuilding...and the thought of repeating as champions of the AFC East with such competition within this division is mind-blowing...ABSOLUTELY MIND-BLOWING!!!!

SOUND OFF THAT AIR RAID SIREN AT LAND SHARK STADIUM!!! OMG!!!

Prediction: The Patriots are unraveling. Look for Miami to overtake them for the AFC East crown and force them to watch the postseason for the second year in a row.

Miami (6-6)

Remaining schedule: at Jacksonville (7-5), at Tennessee (5-7), Houston (5-7), Pittsburgh (6-7).

First-year starter Chad Henne is steadily developing into a first-rate quarterback. He is doing a good job of handling the pressure of crunch time. Ricky Williams is picking up the backfield slack left by Ronnie Brown's season-ending injury. The defense isn't as opportunistic as it was in 2008, but seems to be able to do enough to keep the Dolphins in games. To stay in contention for the AFC East crown or a wild-card spot, the Dolphins must at least win one of their two remaining road games, and finish strong with the final two home contests.

Prediction: The Patriots have created the opening, and the Dolphins should take advantage of it for their second consecutive divisional title.

That would be Awesome! I think the advantage we have is we have been down this road before

The jags are a team on the high right now, it will be tough to beat them but we can certainly do it.

I love all the positive thinking, but let me ask this question.. What will happen if Vic is wrong? Will he lose his job? Will the world come to an end? The answer is NO..

Now what happens to all of us DolFans if he is wrong... Will we be heartbroken? Will our (sporting) world come to an end... The answer is PROBABLY to HELL YES..

Now with that said, I'm trying to pick n chose what I read and how excited I get during the week.. With the history of the team over the last 25 years, I'm trying hard not to get too high..

Whether you agree or disagree it is refreshing to see someone with their own opinion and not get swept into the mix of the mass media.

Anyone that thinks anything in the AFC is settled is wrong. Cincy is the only one that looks like a lock and that is only because of how poorly the Ravens and Steelers are playing because even Cincy could lose 3 of the next 4.

The rest is wide open. Well except Indy who is locked!

Honestly I feel like the national media is lashing out at the Patriots more than they're hyping us. It's sort of like "we sucked your balls so much and all you can do is collapse??"

I don't even want to think about that right now, I'll just be disappointed if we don't make the playoffs. This team is still very young and can make mistakes. They win some big games and then lose against teams like the ****ing Bills.

Making the playoffs would be great but more important to me is the refreshing positivity that is starting to flow through the national media. I just wish some of the people on the board was so thrilled with the progress that's been made and the unstated promise of more to come. We will not win the Super Bowl this year. Playoff experience is a must, but the reality is we are not going to beat most of the teams that make them. That leaves the dilemma, are we better not to make them and get a better draft position or is that experience more important? I also think we need at least one more draft to complete the picture. After being a Phin fan for 42 years my preference is the better draft spot because I think that the guy's doing the drafting know what their doing, and that puts us closer to a World Championship. Just making the playoffs for the sake of being a playoff team means very little to me if you can't win the ultimate prize.

However, this regime has shown to find talent deep in the draft past the first two rounds. I don't think a position of 4 or 5 spots matters

Playoffs? PLAYOFFS? You kidding me? PLAYOFFS?

REPEAT AFC EAST CHAMPIONS WHILE REBUILDING!!!

That would be completely, utterly, and fantastically FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!

Me, you, all of us would love to see a Miami Dolphins championship dynasty with a franchise QB at the helm.

Well...guess what? Repeating as AFC East Division Champs would be a clear signal that the dynasty we want to happen...is indeed happening right now before your disbelieving eyes!
