Tom Heckert just announced on Sirius radio that Philly has signed Curtis...no financial details announced yet....

What's next ?? Ginn

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't think we even had him on our radar???

He is okay, but why spend that kind of money on him???

doubt it... we look elsewhere... dont want ginn

Didnt really think we were going after him anyway.

Although he was the best FA WR left, no big deal that we didt get him. He is probably getting over paid just like every free Agent has been this year anyways.

We couldnt get too excited about the FA WR that there were this year anyways. Although they may have helped a bit, they werent any better than what we have on our roster right now anyways

This stinks, i really would like to get another wide reciever, especially with the loss of Welker.

Plenty of good WR's in the draft this year...Ginn or Meachem in the 1st if we move down are very posible and there's a few other guys we could take a look at in the 2nd and even 3rd round.

Ozzy rules!!

The contract Philly just signed him to is insane! 6 years 30+mil. That's just crazy for a guy that's been nothing more than a 3rd string WR with only OK numbers on a W/C offense. I'm glad we did not go anywhere near him at that kind of money. I think we are pretty much going to sit pat at this point until the draft with the WR spot. Depending upon what we do there, they may look at someone after the cuts (when they are priced a little more affordable).

Wow, I didn't realize it was for that much. That is just fiscally irresponsible and it reeks of desperation. Why didn't they just up the ante for Stallworth?

Wasnt Welker suppose to be made a similiar offer 6yrs-38mil. Seems to be the going rate this season
