Cut Marshall and Dansby

your just being childish. to compare marshall to johnson or moore to rodgers is just a FOOLS errand and you know it
 
If there's no cap hit and there's no trade interest it's by no means out of the question that Marshall and Dansby could be cut by the next GM. Neither is worth remotely what we're paying them ($8-9m a year). You could cut them and get four quality starters for that money. Pay the big money to guys who are going to be the real leaders and difference makers.

Dansby was solid last season but if I'm paying that money for an ILB I'm looking not only for a good player but for a Zach Thomas / Ray Lewis type leader who will boss my defensive unit and Dansby clearly isn't that even when he's fully fit
 
Well Marshall is our number one receiver and Moore is our starter...while the talent levels may not be comparable why would one start cutting the players at the top of their depth chart? I think you are the foolish one my friend because cutting them wouldn't save us any money with the veteran guaranteed salary rule.

I pose the question to you what is the benefit of cutting guys at the top of our depth chart? Cutting Marshall a day after the trade deadline is laughable.

Good post though its already on 2 pages soon to be 3....trolls like you always seem to get a response from FOOLS like me.

Being Childish? Being childish is talking bout cutting your best number 1 WR who is on pace to get 90 receptions and over 1300 yard.
 
so just offer any example of any of the players ive named doing anything at all worth keeping this season. go ahead make the case for any of them to stay based on performanbce.. you can't
 
yeah hes so good he leads the nfl in dropped passes and that red zone show last night was lights out

So besides Marshall who was catching the passes last night??????? Now imagine if we didnt have him do you remember Ted Ginn ???? we have nobody outside of Bess so you basically have ONE damn reciever...so thats sounds really smart!
 
You know I actively lobby for minimum posting and membership requirements to be met in order to earn thread-starting privileges. I'm starting to think a basic Wonderlic test wouldn't be a bad idea either :idk:
 
why the hell would we cut marshall?

the guy is one of the most talented wr in the league. he has absolute **** throwing it to him. its unfortunate and it shouldnt be like this, but hes not playing motivated now. get him a qb and he will dominate.

what marshall did in denver was not a fluke. he was a stud. in miami, hes been playing with henne and now moore for a game. bring luck in next year, he will have 100+ rec, 1100+ yds and 10+ tds.
 
you didnt answer the question.imagine no marshall ok that was easy. no marshall so what hes done nothing you go on and on about "what if we didnt have him?" but how much worse would it really be? 400 yds and 1 td. 21st ranked wr in the nfl yeah well miss him alright.
 
Would it be possible like Baseball to trade for players with similar contracts who are underperforming on their teams so the players could get a fresh start.. if you told me we could get two offensive linemen for the same price as Dansby and Marshall I would go for it.
