Cut Marshall and Dansby

you didnt answer the question.imagine no marshall ok that was easy. no marshall so what hes done nothing you go on and on about "what if we didnt have him?" but how much worse would it really be? 400 yds and 1 td. 21st ranked wr in the nfl yeah well miss him alright.

So you are telling me that you could live without Marshall correct? so what exactly do you expect the QB next year to come in here and throw to? let me guess Bess and Hartline? we have been down this road before where we have absolutley no options to throw the ball downfield.

Marshall may make some boneheaded decisions but he for the most part has not been a cancer like everyone has made him out to be. If you did get rid of Marshall you know how many teams would be putting in a contract offer??? I can tell you one team that lives in the Northeast that would be first in line, Imagine having to face Brady with Marshall up there sound good????? i didnt think so

Its the same with people complianing about Dansby who the hell are you going to replace him with? i dont even think we have a at least average backup there behind him. So with all your infinite wisdom why in the HELL would you want to dump our most valuable pieces and put MORE holes on this team to fill...oh i forgot that makes total sense to do that.

I'm amazed there are people doubting that this could happen

A new GM would have no ties to Marshall or Dansby or anybody else for that matter. He would come in, take a dispassionate look at the roster, and hopefully make some big decisions. If he decides that he can get a better player for the same money or the same player for less money or two starters for the same money then a good GM is absolutely going to do that - it's his job. Of course, in the first instance the new GM would be seeing if he can get a draft pick in return but if the other 31 GMs also think they can do better then there won't be much interest. Look around the league. This year you saw Pro Bowlers being cut because teams can get better value for money elsewhere and because there is no cap hit.

What's more, the 2012 offseason is going to have a much bigger free agency pool because of the new CBA. There are going to be a lot of good players on the market with just 4-5 years experience (they can't all be franchised) and everybody knows it. For once Free Agency is actually going to be a big deal and the new GM is going to want to be a big player there and he's going to want to have the cap room to make a splash.

This team has the stupidest fans in the league.
