Mike Mayock of the NFL Network said that the is one of the top seniors in the draft and he expcects him to be a 1st rounder. IF Young, Quinn, and Stanton don't declare I say go for it.
 
Not that I think he WONT go in the first, but honestly these guys toss around the term first round really easily sometimes....sometimes i think when pressed they'd label about 45 guys as first rounders.

yeah, they say a lot of guys are first rounders

I like to see us draft young

Thats true these draft experts flip flop alot when trying to determine who goes where.
 
I'm not a Young fan personally but if we drafted him I'd hope for the best. To me he's like a bigger Kordell Stewart with more heart.

he reminds me more of Steve Mcnair than Kordell

I think he has a better arm and more accuracy than kordell ever did
 
I have not seen Cutler play a lick, but everything I have read has been pretty positive. SOunds like he just plays on a crappy team, with little talent around him. Must be pretty damn good to be SEC player of the year or whatever he was, lots of talent in the SEC to snag an award like that

I like V. Young, but we will need a vet to fill in while he gets his arms around the NFL. He is 2 FULL years away from being an effective QB. IMHO I have had season tickets for 4 years now to UT, seen several QB's. Young can make plays, but he is surrounded by an amazing amount of talent right now, in a poor year for the BIG12

Thats why I say sign Steve Mcnair and Draft Young
 
I think Cutler will go in the 1st if Quinn and Young don't declare. I think some team will trade into the late 1st rd and get him before some of the teams with high 2nd rd picks get an opportunity to take him. He probably shouldn't be a 1st rd pick, but because he is at a highly valued position, in what could be an extremely weak Qb draft, I think he's taken in the 1st.

I could live with that. Even collins maybe, you just have to protect Collins. Oaklands Oline hasnt played up to snuff at all...

I think Mcnair would be better for youngs development since they are the same type of QB
