ay Cutler insists that Matt Leinart and Vince Young have nothing on him - other than the fatter paychecks they have forthcoming.

Cutler was the last of the ``Big Three'' quarterbacks chosen in the first round of the NFL draft, going to Denver at No. 11, one slot after Southern Cal's Leinart went to Arizona. Young, who led Texas to the national championship, went third to Tennessee.

``I think I'm in the same category as those guys,'' Cutler said Sunday upon his first visit to Broncos headquarters. ``I think I can play with them any day of the week.''

Cutler is the only one of the three quarterbacks who is headed to a winner. But chances are he'll spend his rookie year on the sideline backing up Jake Plummer, who led the Broncos to the AFC championship game in January.

Cutler isn't as polished as Leinart and not as athletically gifted as Young, but he has the better arm of the three plus has better legs than Leinart and more experience as a drop-back passer than Young.

Cutler said he feels fortunate to go to a Super Bowl contender even if his time won't come right away.

I think he's better, always have. Should be interesting to see how they all 3 turn out. Cutler and Leinart definitely have better surroundings now.

Yeah, Jay. Um, just the money, the women, the haircuts, the National Championships, the talent, the fact they could both be starters in week one.

Seriously, what kind of influence is Jake Plummer's haircut going to be on Jay Cutler?

Remains to be seen.

Its funny how you guys are trashing him since you would have killed to get Cutler if we needed a QB.

1. Cutler
2. Leinart
3. Young

Said this since the end of college.

To be fair, Kiper has said he was overrated, and that he had the benefit of a good combine....

what was cutlers record as a starter?

I'm just guessing and i'm too lazy to look it up but I think 11-46. He's in a good situation in Denver and I think he sits for two seasons. Jake the fake had a pretty good season last year and they've definately improved from last season so I think he'll get two years.
