What are your impressions? Haven't watched him in college but from what I hear is not too bad.
Kind of reminds me of Moss in a way. Had off the field issues that dropped his draft status and the rest is history.

I have a good feeling about the guy. He's a physical beast and that tall wr we need

Do not want him. And would be the only pick at 14 that would infuriate me.

Green-Beckham is capable of running every route on the route tree, but he needs to refine his technique and footwork. He repeatedly takes false steps -- his foot slides back -- before getting into his routes, and he doesn't consistently break on the proper foot. For instance, Green-Beckham rolled off his inside foot on dig-routes (16-yard square in) instead of making strong cuts on his outside leg. He also showed "flapping wings" -- his arms extend like chicken wings at the top of his route -- at the break point, providing a possible indicator for defensive backs. While each of these technical flaws is correctable in time, the fact that Green-Beckham hasn't faced game action in over a year will require teams to take a slow approach to ensure he can master the fundamentals of the position.

Bucky Brooks wrote that about his pro day. He's a project and most are assuming he will get it eventually but I'm not buying in. He had a year off, what the heck was he working on during that year? Apparently it wasn't his route running. That's some pretty basic route running techniques that he should have down like second nature at this point. Still people gush over this guy cause he's a physical freak and they overlook his lack of polish and fundamentals. They don't look at what he is but more at what he can be expecting he'll get there at some point. I'm just not one to take that chance...although it sure does seem like a Tannenbaum move. He did take Stephen Hill in the 2nd round of the draft not too long ago cause he was tall and ran fast in a straight line. That didn't turn out too well.

Oooof.

Okay.

I will tell you this...he's tremendously talented. Is he unpolished? A project? A risk? Yep. But he's instinctive, a natural hands catcher, jumps to meet the ball at its apex, has fantastic vision, and unlike Cordarelle Patterson, does not seem to be a complete tree stump mentally.

There is absolutely no way he lasts until the fourth round. None. I'd be willing to bet he doesn't make it out of the second (Seattle). While I'd love to see him realize his upside on the Fins, he would certainly be a gamble. Probably not one the Fins are in a position to take.

I'd take the risk on him for that high upside. Not in the first though

How do we know that? He ran some very simple routes at Missouri...Patterson did the same at Tennessee. Neither ever had to read defenses, there was no thought process in what they did on the field, just natural talent.

I would trade down in the first and take him at the bottom of the round or in round 2 if he drops that far. This is depending on where he's projected. Physically he's one of the best receivers in the draft and I believe his upside is incredible! Lol, No way in hell he will last until the 4th. Sure he's a risk given his problems off the field but the reward is worth it imo!

Just interviews and the way he answers questions. Maybe not the best measuring stick, and obviously just my opinion, but Green-Beckham seems far more thoughtful.

Maybe I'm wrong, but you watch interviews with the both of them, and tell me you don't get the same impression.

Great value pick in the 5th round.
