NFL Network and D Jeremiah said he may be top receiver if he played the missed 7 games. Said he's a stud...hmmm

I personally love Parker and would be thrilled if the fins got him

Parkee can really round out the rest of our WR corps with:

1. Rishard Matthews
2. Jarvis Landry
3. Kenny Stills
4. DeVante Parker
5. Matt Hazel

That, boys and girls, would be the most youthful, yet promising corps we'd have seen in over a decade.....easy

Sidenote:

Rishard Matthews is gonna be that dude in 2015....D coordinators are going to be losing their minds trying to figure out who the hell these lowly WRs are. The platform is there. Landry killing the slot(is gonna be moved around sure, but don't ruin a great thing), Stills working over the top. Rishard & Parker taking turns cleaning up would be orgasmic to see.

Matthews is not that good

I'm concerned with Parker's route running. I think LouPhinFan mentioned they run speed routes at Louisville and that's why he rounded off his routes but the fact that he didn't run a 3-cone or a 20-yard shuttle has me wondering if he has the agility to make the sharper cuts we ask our WRs to make. Can he maintain his speed when changing direction?

It's the same thing with Jaelen Strong...I watched him struggle to get separation and thought it might be more about lack of refinement until he ran his 3-cone and 20-yard shuttle. Strong's 4.19 shuttle time would have tied him for 20th best at the combine and his 7.33 3-cone would have had him at 32nd and not every WR ran those two drills.

I will say that the 1.51 10-yard split for Parker is very good. To put that in perspective, Trae Waynes, who ran a 4.31 official 40 time at the combine, had a 10-yard split of 1.53.

I think Parker is solid…but there is a significant drop off from Cooper and White. There are definitely aspects of his game to like…but again he has his warts.

I think he is in the 2nd tier of guys along with Strong, DGB, Agholor, etc rather than with those top 2 guys. All of those guys have things they do really well, and then things they do that may not translate.
