D. Williams Tendered

I imagine all teams are going to tender players they want to keep that have less then 6 years in the league.

Read and heard on NFL Channel something ineresting last night. Apprently if they do lock out the players and this thing goes into the summer and then both parties agree to at least have a temporary agreement to play the 2011 season. It will be up to a judge, I think the one in Minn that put a hold on the owners 4 billion, to decide if the 2011 season will be played under the 2010 rules or the 2009 rules. Which basically means if they agree to play the season under the current rules, you will need 6 years to be unrestriced, under the 2009 rules, its 4 years. I take it all teams are covering their rear ends and tagging anyone they want to keep under the 2010 rules.

Yeah but DeAngelo is explosve. We could use that.

The tender is most likely going to be meaningless. Every team is tendering players on the off chance that they are actually going to be RFAs and not UFAs

Changed my mind on DeAngelo. He'll want way too much money. Miami can keep either Ricky or Ronnie and get a star with their first pick in the draft after they trade down. I would choose Ricky over Ronnie because I don't think it is wise to resgn Ronnie to a big, long contract again. Ricky could probably do a cheaper two year deal. And then after two years, we could draft or pickup another RB.

I don't see how ronnie brown can ask for top dollar money
or even mid dollar money he was near last in yards per carry 3.7
ricky beat him by half a yard per rush..

Now i do think he can redeem himself
he has show b4 he can do well with adequate blocking
Plus he seems like he really does like it here
and while we know the wild cat has turned into the pink ***** cat
Ronnie did shock the league and made bill belicheck crap his pants the day the wildcat was unveiled..
it took the league a whole year to catch up..
though i think our offensive line wasn't the same to make it work correctly
and they were unable to add the wrinkles to make it a surprise anymore and we all know the pat white experiment failed..
