Does this collective wisdom confirm the Fins decision to kick him to the curb?

Both the Dolphins and Flores do not have any positions for themselves as of now. It seems like the rumors circulating in the nfl could be affecting Flores getting a job. And Miami's handling of Flores may not make it a home suitable for rookie head coaches.

Definitely places a buyer beware sign on him when those interviewing him want to know details on the reported power struggle aspect, and then don't hire him.

If I were him, I would probably decline anyway.

He would likely be better served to have a year off and take some time for a little introspection to be better prepared for a future opportunity. I believe he will get another shot at some point.

I had heard some whispers before last season that Flores had a poor reputation among assistant coaches as a bad person to work for/with and that was why they had issues filling positions. If I were the Giants, I would have investigated that and if I found it to be true, that would have soured me on hiring Flores.

Teams were interested enough to interview him. They probably raised the concerns that we can all see (e.g., mismanagement of staff, poor offense, trouble getting along with the front office and players, etc) in the hope that he has good explanations and answers. He is obviously not allaying the concerns during the interview process. In other words, it sure doesn't look like he is interviewing well and answering the concerns. He is probably demonstrating that he doesn't "get it." It's a shame for him because he has potential as a coach but seems to have some fatal flaws.

Most coaches are prick..u hate playing for them but u respect them when u look back at what yall have accomplish.. for example Bill parcell, mike Ditka.. this are ass hole coaches too..so 9 coaches will get hire in 2022..how many will last 4 yr from now??? Maybe 2.
