Just saw a tweet from SiriusXM NFL Radio.. can't post link, on work computer. Thoughts if this gained momentum?

I dont think we'd trade him, but hypothetically what would you want as compensation?

Dallas looks to be making a run this year... ROMO!!!? lol jk

Sources tell SiriusXM NFL Radio that the Cowboys have interest in Dolphins DE/LB Cam Wake...

Here is the tweet - I just posted in the practice update thread also..

Your not going to get that much for him just the way it works for aging pass rushers...

Give us one of their O-lineman or a 3rd round pick.

you'd probably get their late 3 but it doesn't send the right message to the locker room in Miami right now therefore I don't see it

I LOVE WAKE, one of my favorite all time Dolphins....but he is at the end of his career (even though he still looks good). If we got a 2nd or better, I would do it.....nothing less! I don't think that will happen because of his age, so I think he stays a Dolphin!

Trading Wake makes zero sense for Miami - unless Dallas offers up something worthwhile, which is highly unlikely.

As a fan of both teams, I hope the Dolphins keep Wake.

He's too important here. Even if we miss the playoffs.

I want to see a competitive team. And keeping Wake increases the chance Brady can get hit a few more times next time we play the Pats.

I know it wouldn't happen but if they are willing to part with a second round pick than get the trade done... if not we keep him... he means too much to this team right now

I don't believe he's going anywhere. He's our pass rush right now but yes, I would take a 2nd for him which it's not going to happen

Ozzy rules!!

If wake happened to get a SB ring in Dallas, i'd be pretty happy for him.

Just keep him and let him retire a phin

This is probably still all coming from that rumor some no name reporter started last week

I dont want to see him go, but if he wanted to leave I think we owe it to him to try to make it happen..... What does Wake want?

I can't see it happening. They won't offer enough to make it worth it for us to give up on our season which we would essentially be doing by getting rid of a guy who doesn't really appear to be slowing down. He could put it another great year in 2017 and I think that's what we should be thinking.

If anything we should be looking at being buyer's, not seller's, for the right player/price.

An OLB would be nice.

Our schedule is getting easier, our team is getting healthier and our offense is gelling. Full steam ahead for 2016 and let the chips fall where they may.
