They have already tried playing Ratliff at other positions..and it didn't work out well.

I will say, that was mostly Wade Phillips. God only knows what sideshow Slob Ryan is going to march out on the turf each weekend.

basically as i figured ratliff is good at what he does and i just dont see him being a good end

Dude is so desperate to get a HC job and compete with his brother, there's no telling what he'll do. The poundings the Giants gave his defense has his panties in a wad. He is a 3-4 guy through-and-through, so it's not that surprising that he feels like he needs that mammoth NT. Those 2 young ILBs they have there are promising, maybe he feels like having Soliai there will free them up to make plays. Ratliff is good, but he is a pass-rusher more than a run-stuffer. Personally, I think that's better since it disrupts the backfield. But hey, I'm a humble fan and he is a coach in the NFL...

2 young ILB's?

Sean Lee seems to be the real deal for certain, actually plays ALOT like Zach Thomas did.
Bruce Carter? I honestly don't know which other ILB' you are talking about.

Truth is, they are probably....maybe going to franchise Anthony Spencer (I honestly hope they do. I HATE the Cowboys :lol:) This guy has grossly underachieved!!!
They obviously have one of the VERY best OLB'ers in D-Ware
They have a real talent in Sean Lee...and then, they have nobodody.
Victor Butler has SERIOUSLY underachieved
Keith Brooking and Bradie James are both dun. Neither will be with the Cowboys next season.
Only other guy they have at LB on their roster is Albright, and he's only a ST/Situational type player.

Yeah, Bruce Carter. I don't know much about him, but I know they are high on him. I'd think they'd be better served throwing that money at their secondary. I doubt I can come up with a worse secondary in the last few years than the one Dallas on the field last year. Absolutely horrid...
 
Tell ya one thing... If it is true that the Jets are interested in and will draft Trent Richardson, we better keep Soliai cause we will need him worse than ever.

Hah. I hope and pray the Jests mortgage their draft..yet again....for Richardson. First I've heard of it, but I would be perfectly fine with that :lol:

depends on alot of factors at best we could get a 3rd round pick at worst nothing. Depends on free agents we sign and lose and how much he signs for

He'd be so much more of an upgrade over Shonn Greene. Richardson could run straight over a small sized NT. Small sized is something Soliai isnt.
 
How sad would it be to let the biggest, baddest strongest mofo in F.A. walk right out the door to someone else. I guess we just have to wait 10 more years for another Tim Bowens or D. Gardner.
