I'm not saying I'm good with him at LG but when he played there I think he was ok. If I'm not mistaken it was when he switched to rg and rt is when he sucked a@s. I know some of you study last year games and like I said I thought he was ok at LG. Please refresh my memory so to speak if can.

In the spirit of Easter, I hope the forum takes it easy on you

I know he blows....I just thought he did ok at LG in beginning of 14...that's all and was just wondering if some of you remembered that as well. If not I'll smoke another

His early play was probably better because he had Albert next to him. He was better but not good by any means.

I'd go with your "option B"

Just saying.

I'm all for the sunnier world view of the thread starter. Whenever I'm not happy with something, I remember:

That said, Dallas Thomas was bad all over the field last year. I'm just hoping the fix is something simpler like him learning he needed glasses, or perhaps him playing for the Jets.

Tough competition? Defenses in regular season form? Was he next to our best OT?

Not trying to be a jerk, but every time I watch Dallas Thomas I come away disappointed. I've blocked it out of my memory at this point in preparation for all the talent in the draft ... but which games were these? Which weeks of the season? Who was he going against 1v1? Was he opening run lanes? Because I just don't recall it.

This reminds me of the people who were behind Shelley Smith. I saw him as a project who had ample time but hadn't developed. They saw him as an unpolished gem.

I want Thomas to not suck. Please, give me a reason to believe that he can open run lanes and stop pass rushers against the Bills and Jets. Because I can't remember seeing a guy who looked good enough to do it.

Dallas Thomas is in rediculously over his head at this level. Just one of the worst football players Ive ever seen receive extended time.

Awful.

Thomas is so weak in core and NON EXPLOSIVE -- a weakness and slowness that 4 years of D1 ball and two years of pro ball couldn't help. So weak that he'll never be a great guard and so slow of foot and instinct that he'll always be the worst tackle in the league, creating the worst OL in the league. Miami's OL with Thomas starting the last 8 games of the year was the worst OL and it wasn't even close. It was below zero, if such a ranking could exist.

It's a minor miracle that RT is still standing.

The only person high on Thomas is Philbin, and that's because he was also majorly high on Hartline, Ellerbe and Wheeler -- in other words, completely clueless on drafting or analyzing NFL talent. Good X and O but horrible, horrible talent eval.

Philbin is the only reason Thomas is still on the team -- a holdover from the dreaded Philbin/Ireland talent black hole.

The best thing about Thomas is that Brandon Albert said something like when the kid puts it together he's going to be very good. That's all I got.
