We should all take CPR courses. My then 18 year old daughter saved my 40 year old sister in law's life 8 years ago. We were visiting her in Orlando, my daughter sharing the same bedroom with her and in the very early morning my daughter waked from hearing her Aunt's erratic breathing. Then she stopped breathing and my daughter ran to next room to get me. I immediately called 911 confirming she had no pulse but my daughter who had taken a CPR course that year jumped into action and starts pumping on her chest as the 911 operator encourages her to stay with it. I was paralyzed by fear, the EMTs got there 9 mins after I called (felt like an hour) and there was still no pulse. Hit her twice with the paddles and nothing and then take her to the ambulance. I'm convinced we lost her. In the ambulance third time at the highest voltage allowed they got her heart beating again. This was a very healthy 40 year old woman that didn't drink, smoke, ate well and exercised. Just a freak electrical/chemical thing with her heart. No cardio vascular plumbing issues, just total cardiac arrest.

People at South Lake hospital were incredible. Kept her sedated in an induced coma and cooled her body down significantly to minimize potential brain injury as her body slowly came back from the trauma. Happy to say she is with us today, from anybody that doesn't know her, 100% recovered (minor speech issue here and there). In short a total miracle which I deeply wish for Damar and hope he is on his way to. This incident hit me very close to home. My daughter is my hero, just amazing. I would have been frozen and lost if not for her immediate action.

The takeaway - lets all learn CPR and recognize what is going on and don't hesitate to help. It saved my sister in law and I am convinced it saved Damar.

lol That bills stadium is gonna be insane. That stadium is loud as it is in general especially big games. But after hearing good news about damar, oh man it;s gonna be an electric atmosphere. The bills player introduction and such will be crazy. Bills players will most likely have td celebrations that honor damar.
