Agree not a good idea for Landry too vital in the passing game!
Id rather see Mliler try to return he has the speed to do it.
Williams does seem capable of returning!
I think Williams could win the starting RB position during the year.

miller would pick the wrong lane almost every time! Then when he did finally break one he'd get shoestringed by the kicker! Lol. Really, I like miller, but he has made some pretty suspect decisions choosing his running lanes. I think him getting 10-12 carries and Moreno getting 15-20 would be good.

Damian Williams will get signed soon, not only did he have a decent preseason but he is also a veteran WR. If we didn't have such a great receiving core, he could have made this team, but When Rishard Matthews is your 5th best option, anyone is going to have a hard time cracking the roster. Personally I think Hartline is starting to decline, lets hope it was only preseason rust.

i didn't see any hint of decline in brian hartline. i did see a player coming off a torn PCL, learning a new offensive system, and played sparingly (and most likely not at 100% or full speed) in the preseason.

My thinking is that Hickey may simply be thinking that the success of our recieving core is due more based on Lazors system.

WRs stand out and make impressions more in the preseason than any other position. Every year we have some new Jerry Rice who just needs a little polish. But it rarely, rarely translates when the bullets go live. DW played well. I wish him the best. Our receiving corps is deeper than it's been in quite some time. I wish we had a true, dominant number one, but our 1-5 is very decent.

I liked Damian a lot. Thought it was a great signing when it happened. But 6 WR's seems a lot especially when it's a strong position. I'm guessing we waited to see if we could get Hazel on the practice squad before making the move.

He was cut only because the guy stitching names on the backs of jerseys couldn't fit his and Damien's entire name.

I think Williams was a good player and will ikely catch on with another team - maybe Cleveland or KC

this was a suprise for me.not sure why he got cut then we bring in another wr who doesn't know the system. to place him on the p.s.
i wld rather have put Williams on the p.s if he was eligible
