MARINO, Huard, Feidler, Lucas, Griese, Feeley, Frerotte, Culpepper, Harrington
we have been looking for a qb for almost 7 years and I look on NFL.com and I see: AFC Offensive Player of the Week: Damon Huard

I liked him back then and wished that they would have kept him but that was 7 years ago and I think it is time to move on.

He is the only qb in the last 30 something years to have started in a game as a dolphin and wear 2 super bowl rings (patriots) and he recieved the AFC Championship game ball in 2003.

if wanny picked him over feedler {i spell his name wrong on purpose} haha...maybe we'd have a dynasty right about now, marino pulled for him, he backed up marino, and now hes about to be the next kurt warner {taking over for a injured trent green lol} anyways...just sucks we let him go...

I liked Huard as well. He could really manage a game well. The poise he showed in that come from behind win against the Patriots in 1999 was awesome. I think once Fiedler "beat him out" he felt like the coaching staff lost confidence in him and therefore he lost some confidence in his last year as a Dolphin.

Look who Huard has played, 2 piece of **** teams.
Plus he's old and washed up, now. he's nothing more than a back up.
Chances are that he would have turned out the same as Feidler.

I hope your post wasn't directed at me. I was just saying he was a guy that came in and did well when Dan was hurt. He wasn't great, but he got the job done and didn't make many boneheaded mistakes. He was a good game manager that could make some big plays every so often. Hopefully Joey can be than and then some.

ya huard is no more then a good backup. He was playing the cardinals and about 80 of his passing yards was from a big larry johnson screen at the end of the game.

I remeber that one game when marino had the stingers after that amazing 4th quarter comeback vs the colts!!! we were playing NE and marino started off the game throwing a pick to TB and he ran it back for a TD then huard got in the game threw a pic to ty law and he ran it back for a TD and then huard led us to a come from behind victory it was amazinG!!!!!
