Obviously he is an intense guy. But we saw today a balanced offensive attack where we were able to move the ball pretty well. Our defense balled out. Campbell did something Philbin never did. Campbell went for a score before halftime. He also went for that final touchdown at the end of the game where Joe wouldve ran out the clock. I know its one game but i loved that Dan wants to score points. This didnt look like the same team we saw the first 4 weeks at all. Im a firm believer in Dan Campbell after todays game. Hopefully this team has recognized its true potential. It looked like they actually wanted to play today.

The offensive change, in run-pass balance, was a very significant improvement. And I agree with you regarding the kill mentality. The late touchdown throw to Cameron seemed like a clear indicator of that - don't let up.

Joe has gone for scores before halftime before.

That said, I was a bit surprised that we poured on that last touchdown. Joe was definitely one to call off the dogs late in a game when the team was leading.

I was thrilled that we Patrioted their ass under two minutes and threw for a score, also the blitz on the last play....phuck yes, go for the kill

I know philbin HAS gone fore it before halftime...but when we were losing....dan did it up 17-3

Joe Failbin would have found a way to blow that lead! He would have micromanaged his buddy Coyle into the prevent defense. He would have micromanaged Lazor to play conservative. Joe Failbin sucks I told everyone this in his epic fail at home in 2013 with playoffs on the line. Failbin would probably have traded Grimes and Landry today for making to many plays.

Thats true. Havent seen that in a while. Though it was borderline cheap and tacky with two minutes left and the game clearly over to be passing there. Nontheless not even the announcers said anything surprisingly.

This was a different team and I expect to see this team the rest of the year. Even if its just for one game. This is a big change from the trash philbin and coyle were putting out there week after week.

There was a lot of intelligent aggression today. Coach Campbell was going for the throat. Loved it.

I think that was campbell showing his players that you dont let up, you finish the game. Nothing tacky about that passing td. Noone says a damn thing when the pats do it. This team played inspired today.

I was thinking the same thing. NE would have kept their foot on the petal. Campbell's coaching was like "stop us if you don't want us to score"

I hope we get some insight into the things that Philbin & Coyle were doing from the players this week.

Unbelievable to see the team I expected on opening day to show up BIG like that after those first few games.

I hope Campbell does enough to get hired permanently before the end of the season.

Now they need to get t-bomb to let Hickey draft talent and not focus on making 'The big splash' every off season.

Just think that if we got a FG before halftime that we finally would have scored over 40 points in a win.

Honestly that deep throw to stills down the sideline when we were backed into our own end zone was my favorite example of that kill mentality. I am sure with Philbin in the sideline we're running on first and second down playing not to lose.

We got that first down and it was tannehills best drive. We iced the game. That's what it means to play to win.
