Dan Carpenter sets a Dolphins rookie record

Dan Carpenter says he didn't know.

He says he didn't know the three field goals he made Sunday afternoon without a miss in the Edward Jones Dome gave him 11 in succession and established a Dolphins franchise record for a rookie kicker.

Hmmm, I though it was an NFL rookie record.

I thought it was an NFL record too. I am happy that he is hitting them but it is a little troubling that we stall enough on our drives to give him enough enough opprotunities to get that record. The other issue is his lack of kick off power. He is accurate even on his long attempts, I cant recall any of his kicks that wernt right on the money all season but I also dont think any of his kickoffs have reached the endzone except maybe once or twice. He is partially responsible for some of our special teams struggles.
