Dan Marino #5 draft steal (According to NFL channel

I would bet brady is number 1
 
Marino is the best QB ever! But he was still a first round pick, picking tom brady in round #6 has got to be number 1.

He was...Don't remember complete rankings but some other's mentioned included Bo Jackson, Terrel Davis, Deacon Jones, Joe Montana. I would have gone with Joe at #1. Also no mention of Nick Buoniconti. Entertaining none the less...

8 or 9-Ray Guy
6-Bo Jackson
5-Dan Marino
4-Deacon Jones
3-Terrel Davis
2-Joe Monana
1-Tom Brady
 
No Johnny Unitas? In the book "Sports Illustrated Greatest QB's" he is rated #3 all time and was drafted in the 9th round.

Yeah. I'd thought he'd be number one, but he was picked up as a free agent (was not drafted) by the Colts.
 
Unitas was drafted in the 9th round by Pittsburgh in 55 and was cut in training camp. Sign by Colts in 56 and history was made.
 
just like i figured. marino is the only one of that group drafted in the first round. pretty much gives you an indication of how special he was.

ps-bo jackson was technically drafted in the 1st by tampa, but refused to play there and played baseball instead. then re-entered the draft and was picked up later by the LA raiders(if i remember the story correctly)
