Who is all in with me..I will love to see Dan running the Offence. He called most of the plays anyway. When he played. Really does anyone think he can do it. I will love to see it...Thoughts

I don't think it would work out.

Dan had things you can't coach and, I have
difficulty believeing he could effectivly
communicate the things that need to get done to
younger players.

Personally, I think Don Strock would not be a bad
choice to bring in as a QBs coach and groom him for
an OC's position.

Also, I think Dan could've been in coaching a long time
ago if he had any desire whatsoever to do it.

His: throw it between the MLB's legs, over the DB's head, just to the left of the corner's out stretched hand, and right into the wide receiver's bread basket, type of offense only works with him as quarterback.

Honestly i think we should demote Mike Mularkey and either premote Baggett.
If not that hire a top notch coordinator from someone's staff.

Dunno who we can get, I dont think Marino is the answer for OC though. Perhaps bring him in as an assitant to the OC for a couple seasons and then let him take the reigns from whoever we bring in NEXT year if things dont work out. Whatever the case may be, Marino needs some experience in another coaching position prior to becoming OC.

He's stated many times he has no desire to coach. And he didn't call his own plays, just audibled alot.

not a very good idea, but our enthusiasm is good. Marino doesn't have the patience to be a good coach. i.e. see Jordan or Bird

Dan's life is pretty swell right now with his current gigs. Makes good $ too.

Dan turned down the the chance to be the President of the team. Given that, I don't believe he will take a coordinator role.

Do I give up 2 part-time TV jobs and multiple autograph signings where I can make a few million or take an OC job where I work 14-16 hour days for a quarter mil?
Hmm, what would you do?
