Dan Marino said on his weekly show this morning that the offense will get better as Henne gains experience and the receiver position improves.
"It's just a matter of him getting experience, and it's also they've got some guys that are working hard and playing hard at receiver, and as the whole offense gets better over time as far as talent-wise goes . . . you look around the league and see other teams, they've got a few guys that are more big playmakers," said Marino, who is confident Henne will show a steady progression.
"Henne will get better and better," Marino said. "He forced the interception to Ricky Williams in the endzone. But everybody forces throws. I did for years. But I've been impressed with him and his mental toughness, especially coming back after throwing interceptions.
"Quite honestly, they've got a young quarterback in Henne that slings it around. At the same time, his aggressiveness and how he throws the ball . . . sometimes he throws it a little hard and sometimes he takes some chances. That's what put him in the hole against Tennessee. But that same style got them back to give his team a chance to win the game."
