Dan Marino: Ryan Tannehill Is the Right QB for the Dolphins | The Rich Eisen Show

There is no bigger Miami Dolphin fan than Dan Marino, listen how he says " we alot regarding Danny Amendola and Albert Wilson and the team"

Dan is right there with us and the team......

what does he supposed to say. He is not running dolphins. It up to Adam...

I love Eisen and am on the fence about RT but

a) why would we trade for Bridgewater based on not knowing
b) go be a GM if you are that smart
c) RT was balling before he got hurt
d) Chris Kouffman is pro RT
e) don't equivocate on your tweets, be a man

saying a QB with a shredded knee is a great backup plan for RT is so laughable.

Be nice to see Marino be the guy that's in Tannehill's ear. Maybe he is idk, he's around the team once in awhile. I'm sure he's got tee times that take prescedence.

I'd say that Rich Eisen would have something different to say about this today, but why do I get the feeling you're one of the guys that really wants Tannehill to fail?

Whether you like tannehill or don’t like tannehill 2 games is not enough to change opinions.

Unless we’re going to crown Ryan Fitzpatrick and declare him an elite qb. The same way people crowned Nick Foles after his sb performance.

Let's see, the choice is between Tannehill, Osweleir, Fales, Falk or Petty.
Yeah, I would agree given those are the options.

Eisen says that MIA doesn't know what they've got in Tannehill. From a return from injury standpoint, that's certainly true.

But these guys ignore the fact that Ryan has two 4,000+ yard seasons under his belt that very well could be 3 if he didn't get injured. Heading into the season, he'd also thrown 106 TD passes to 66 INT's and has been on the positive side of that ratio for all but one season.

Is that HOF material? Absolutely not. But it's something. You know he can at least play in the league. His W/L record of 39-40 isn't great, but is more a reflection of the HC/OC/GM/franchise instability that's gone on over the years. IMO, considering all the turmoil and changes, 39-40 isn't that freaking bad. Imagine what the W/L record under Tannehill might be had they hit on and stuck with one HC and hit on more of their draft picks. How much better might Tannehill look with Julio Jones and the other offensive weapons Matt Ryan was provided over the years?
