If I hear or read one more person suggesting the dolphins should hire Dan Marino I'm going to punch something or somebody! First of all and I'm speaking from personal experience.. Just because you played football doesn't automatically mean you can coach it or oversee a football program. Especially when you were great at it! I like to me trying to teach my 7 year old 2nd grade math... 2+2 is easy to me and the concept is soo simple that I get frustrated when he doesn't understand it and can't do it. I can see this happening to Marino. But guess what.... Math stays the same, football doesn't. Marino didn't see some of the defenses that are out there now, and sure as hell knows nothing about these new age offenses. Marino would need to go through the same steps as anyone else to prove that he can actually COACH or run an organization before I would want anything to do with him in a coaching or management position.
