Although it's not likely, Brees' season is off to a great start.

I highly doubt Drew Brees will be capable of matching the late season stats Marino put up (especially with the Saints likely in the playoffs), but it seems like every year in the NFL predictions are constantly up in the air and records continue to get broken.

sucks man, with no superbowl i always felt that is something he held all his records, but records are made to be broken :(

well if brees does, I'm sure cam carerom will start crying again, because that is what he did when we played drew b,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but NO CHANCE he beats marino's record

As Mercury said, "Don't call me when..."

Dont you think it's a bit premature for this ?

Nah. I'm not even worried a little bit. This has happened several times before. Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Rich Gannon, Daunte Culpepper, Brett Favre, etc. It's WAY too early to worry about it.

Peyton Manning might not make it that long, his knees are already giving up on him. Would be surprised to see him playing in the next 5-6 seasons.

Honestly, I really dont even care that much anymore. records were meant to be broken... I just want to win games.

I had to re-bump this thread that I made back in October

a lot of us didn't think it was possible...

Well he definately won't be beating it by 300 yards like the graph predicted. Statistics have always sucked balls

He needs a 400 yard game to break Marino's record. Something he hasn't had since Week 10. I don't see him getting it against the Panthers. He will end up probably 100 yards short.

He need exactly 402yrds O_O i don't expect him to get that much against Carolina's D. Most he'll probably end up will be 343 yrds on the day...There i called it
