Dan Orlovsky (Who Knows A Technical QB Thing Or 2) Extols Tua's Virtues

Orlovsky was 2-10 in his career with an any/a under 5. I guess everybody looks like a superstar compared to him.
That means he doesn't know about Quarterbacks? The position? Many career backups are more studious and know the ins and outs more than the starters...they have to, with less god given talent..your hatred of Tua is funny and your commentary is laughable..we expect better from you, Danny!

He actually played really well for that very crappy 2011 Indy team when he came in. Team was much more competitive with him over Curtis Painter.

This is feeling a bit like last year when we are getting a deluge of Tuaism
Some may remember I was all for Herbert last year so i am biased but with all they constant hype I have yet to see the eliteness showing itself
Yes Tua was efficient and I am of the belief he will be physically better this year further removed from injury and hopefully bulked up...well he better be because his velocity and arm ability seemed pretty lacking so lets hope Until then all the praise rings a bit shallow until we get to see some kind of jump from what he was his rookie year
Again lets hope

Fair enough...I guess Tua sucks now!

Orlovsky always makes good observations. But I think it's worth pointing out that the last QB he didn't like was back in 1972 ... or thereabouts. I classify him as the eternal glass-half-full guy regarding QB's ... he's the stalwart defender. He takes criticism of any QB personally, because he lives, breathes, and bleeds the position. He's not wrong ... just more inclined to see the positives of the QB and any criticisms from the QB's perspective.

Regardless, taking the wait and see approach is always wise with a young QB. Particularly one who has gone through the serious rehab, Covid, and rebuild rookie season which was inflicted upon Tua.
