You know, I was thinking that the Tannenbaum hire was connected to bringing Quinn to Miami NEXT year. It would certainly have been suspicious this year, with Quinn having been Tannenbaum's client, though waiting a year would have been (and has proven to be if the article is accurate) a risky move. But now we can count out Quinn.

Gus Malzahn is still available. I have hope.

Teryl Austin, Hue Jackson and if this offense has another good year, Bill Lazor are still out there.

Daddy, everyone else is getting a new pony, but you won't get us one!

There will be a 'list' next year also, just like there is every year.

so? not exactly a "must have"

Unlike how some people look at it there are plenty of good candidates every year.

If our offense explodes but Philbin is still a fail then Lazor deserves a chance IMO

I agree if we have a top ten offense although he wouldn't be my top choice but I would give him an interview.

Why do you keep bringing up Hue Jackson? He was an absolutely terrible HC when he was with the Raiders. Also Cincy's offense was ranked an average 15th in yards and an average 15th in scoring. Alternatively Miami's offense was ranked higher than Cincy's in both categories.

8-8 in Oakland is like winning a Super Bowl.

Simplistic arguments when using yardage rankings to determine if a guy can coach.

He is a charismatic leader that has bright offensive mind. He has experience. I think he'd be a great candidate.

IN addition to yardage I used scoring offenses - which is the most important indicator of whether or not a guy can coach.

Can't believe Armondo was right, for once... Wow

Isn't 8-8 our goal every year.
