I have lost track of how many QBs Miami has knocked from the game this year. Who in their right mind would want to play against our Defense? I certainly don't root for guys to get hurt, but damn. This has to be in their head at least a little bit.
 
Lets hope it is in Belichick's head week 17 and he just has Brady had off every play.
 
If our LBs could figure out how to stop missing tackles, this defense could be scary.
 
They have been mashing QB's all season. Stopping the run is still an issue but its hard for teams to score a lot of points just running against us. So not overly concerned. We can stop the run when we need to when the other team gets near our goal line.

Once thing that can be said for this defense is that if you give them adequate offensive support we are not likely to loose. When the Dolphins score more than 24 points this season the team is 8-0. That is the formula for continued success. Along with knocking Brady out in 2 weeks.
 
The hit on Petty coulda been a lot worse. Wake let up and backed off of the hit pretty decisively there.
 
A couple of good linebackers, DE and resign Branch for next season and this defense is going to become dominant.

As bad as this D is against the run, man they make up for it in big plays made.

Then again we keep being told it's a passing league. Maybe this Defense has acknowledged this? Maybe?
