Daniel Thomas and Charles Clay?

I have spent some time actually watching both of these players when they practiced. From what I have seen, I am not very optimistic. I am sure that you attended the training camps too right Zach?
Or is your abundant optimism just based on media reports, FH speculation and wishful thinking?

Look here WESTERN NEW YORK, I live right by the practice facility, and I have been there plenty of times watching these guys in the scorching sun right along with the media. Thomas runs light and straight up, Clay? Is he a TE or FB? Another tweener. IMHO...These guys are performing like guys that will never be starters or difference makers. Time will tell. Call them whatever you want.

I don't give a **** if you live in a shanty on the practice field. Practice really doesn't mean a damn thing, ESPECIALLY when it comes to running backs. Let's see how hard he runs when the real bullets are flying before you start calling him a BUST!

Yea, we can give them more time. I am not expecting much from either of them.

yeah the one game they didn't play in was very telling..... they showed us nothing !!! :crazy:

but, no........you were at every practice ? or just a few ? we know thomas started off slow, but he had some very good practice days late in august. the last pre-season game he looked decisive and somewhat elusive too.
