Daniel Thomas better get cut today

Let's see..

- goes down with the first hint of contact
- can't pass block worth a damn
- does not catch balls out of the backfield

Other than that, he is a great player.

Agree but, was better in the second half, and about the same as Moreno.

Miller gave up 7 total pressures in 127 pass blocks, better than Moreno but, somewhat debatable.

Caught 26 of 35 out of the backfield for a 6.5 avg. Would likely be better with some blocking.

I'm not here to sing the praises of Miller, as I was disappointed with his play. I do question some throwing him and DT under the bus knowing how bad the blocking was. Would Moreno have done better with the same, as opposed to the best O in the history of the game? We shall see.

One less draft bust on the roster. He brings nothing to the table as a RB.

So, you have nothing? He's a perfect 3rd RB. What did you ever expect from DT? Bust? I think not. Your expectations were busted.

On our team now, who is a better 3rd RB? STOP!!!!! You can't name anyone and anyone you do name would destroy your creditability. Just sit dude. Makes no sense to cut him now. And your retort to my question was just as asinine as anything you attempt to argue against.

True, but it doesn't hurt to ask other teams if you're the Phins. He'll probably end up being cut.

Or being our 3rd RB behind the other 2. Bring him in, if he has a couple good preseason games, who knows, maybe we could get something for him.

He was a second round pick for crying out load. After watching him play for three seasons, he was a BUST. We are not talking about 7th round pick here. He will not be kept as a 3rd RB. Get a clue.

I have watched him play here for three seasons and listed in my above post about why he is a lousy RB. I actually gave it a lot of thought. If your best response is, well, Miller fumbled on the first play, that is a pretty weak argument.

Actually I answered you in that same post. I said as opposed to Miller? Who couldn't break a tackle, pass block or catch a ball. This signing is all about competition. Moreno is not a superior weapon, no matter how much you think so.

Another declarative from you. If I had to choose between Gilsee and DT, I take the guy who coaches trusted more when they needed yards. Miller is nothing to brag about, nothing.

I never said that, but I would take the Miller/Moreno combo over the Milller/Thomas combo. Would you not?

Keep him. Make Moreno work for his spot.
