Everybody participated in the early part of practice (except, of course, those two players on injured reserve – Chad Henne and Lydon Murtha). That means CB Vontae Davis was back. And RB Daniel Thomas. And even DT Tony McDaniel, who hasn’t played since the season-opener.

FS Chris Clemons and CB Nolan Carroll participated in the early part of practice but were pulled out of team drills toward the end of the portion of practice that’s open to the media. Both of them are battling hamstring injuries.

The Dolphins don’t have to give out an official injury report until Thursday, so it’s unlikely that we learn much about the status of some of these guys until then. Still, it’s a good sign to see the likes of Thomas and Davis back out there.

Both appeared to be practicing as normal and neither were favoring the hamstring injuries that have sidelined them in recent weeks.

Didnt know if this was posted, you can merge it if it was.

I dont understand how this helps get Andrew Luck? Y was it posted? lol

With these guys back, we will win enough games to take us out of the running for Luck.

Dammit,I have a feeling their going to replace Jones with Clemons, put Bush on PR duty, start playing some man coverage, bring the house against Sanchez, oh and dont forget run some nasty screen against the JETS. crap we may end up winning this game

With Vontae and Thomas back it should be a good game and we have a chance to win. Sorry about that SFL guys. Your going to look silly rooting for the Jets if that happens.

The Jets are a special case. Im rooting for 1-15 with the 1 being a Monday night thrashing of the Jests. SFL will make the blow softer if we lose this one though.

damn i hate to hear this but but i will still keep the hope of losing alive

The players have had so many hamstring injuries.

I have been excited to see Clemons in the line up. Jones sucks so bad.

This FO has been so ****ty at finding legit FS.

We forget that Ireland ****ed up the signing of Ryan Clark. Ireland needs to go.

Rooting for the Jets just feels dirty and so wrong. I would love to draft Luck. I would love a new coach and GM. But i still think there is a good nucleus of players (have not show it) I would rather finish strong and go into next year with our new coach and QB ready to win. Not blowing up the team just to get a certain player and starting all over again.

I believe all these guys need more time off to rehab. At least another 8 weeks worth.

Don't worry you "suck for Luck" guys. Sparano is still the head coach and last time I checked he's still starting Colombo and Jones. Those 2 alone will make sure we don't win many games.

Absence of Vontae since the first game has hurt the team. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes an immediate impact.

I sense the use of a "certain formation" w/ Miami being desperate & futility @ QB yet again.

I'd run the "certain formation" again just to irritate Rex & Bart Scott.
