I'm not impressed with Thomas so far in his NFL career. Runs very upright and seems below average. Can't believe Miami traded up for him.

Donald Thomas plays for the Patriots now...

But DANIEL Thomas still plays for us.

Some players just don't transition well to the NFL, I was a big fan of Daniel Thomas when he was at Kansas State. And I was glad we traded up for him, and I hate seeing him struggle like this but let's see what he does in the regular season before we write him off.

Donald Thomas washed out with the Phins in the 2nd-3rd yr of the BP/Sparano regime.
Daniel Thomas, on the other hand was limited by a nagging hamstring injury last yr and we really haven't seen much of him yet. The team as a whole looked uninspired, so I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from friday night.

seems like a growing trend with this team... sean smith(wr-cb), daniel thomas(qb-rb), ryan tannehill(qb-wr-qb)... guys that made major position changes but that have more then prototype size or athleticism for their position.

if we hit on 2 out of 3 (smith and tannehill) with these kind of moves, im happy. this kind of drafting takes some balls and dedicated time and development from a coaching staff

He better pick it up or miller will have his spot he doe"s look slow

Thomas looked really good his first two games and like garbage ever since. I don't think its impossible for him to carve out a good career, but he may only be the 4th best RB on this roster.

Thomas looked really good while he was healthy and getting 20-25 touches a game. I think he has an upside, but I doubt he will get the touches with this team as deep as our running backs are now. Plus, he's not one of Philbins players (I mean he was here before Philbin got here), so there's not necessarily any loyalty there. Still, I hope he will surprise us.
