Daniel Thomas

Two weeks ago Omar Kelly was reporting he had a serious leg injury and was out for the season. Today he has perhaps a career day in the snow. Thomas deserves a lot of credit and praise for his performance.

Nope! He is a 2nd round pick of Jeff Ireland. sorry. he sucks.

Good point. One really good game (mostly on one really good run, finally!) completely makes up for all of the other lackluster ones. Is it too early for HOF balloting?

the leg injury must have affected his vision... he actually looked to bounce things rather then just trudge into the pile

i noticed that in the first three qtrs... i had to miss the 4th unfortunately

Props to the impeccable Omar for reporting him done for the season.

FWIW, the 50 yard run does not make DT better or worse than he has been the rest of this year. He has run hard all season but, had few openings to go anywhere and the same can be said for Miller. If/when we get a couple of guys in addition to Pouncey who can run block, both have the talent to be good.

not to take anything away from DT he had great day and was key to victory but I also like to add the snow may have provided a sauce for the goose environment for him. That being the case if we are lucky enough to make the playoffs and we have to go no the road to a bad weather city it's good to know we have the RB that is essential for a bad weather game

The 55 yarder happen because of Sam Brenner and Pouncey on their pulls, both had a big impact on springing Thomas...

I'm really digging Brenner and hope he gets a chance to compete for a starting position next season.

DT + Miller could prove to be a decent 1-2 punch. DT is running hard through contact these last few games...

I've never given up on Thomas and that run didn't surprise me.He doesn't have Reggie Bush moves but could be vital this time of year.

:clapping:

So the guy makes one good play in 13 games, and suddenly he's a great player? Give me a ****ing break. The run game is garbage. I never said Thomas sucked, I just said his numbers would've been garbage (yet again) if it wasn't for the one 55 yarder.

I really have to wonder what the hell some people's problems are on this site. Has anyone called Thomas great? Are you confusing people giving him props with something else? Clearly.

Poor field conditions equals out the players. He had a nice game, but it's not going to erase a below average career so far.

He had a good game, we should also mention the catch he made on 3rd down and they tacked on the 15 yarder (half the distance in this case)
I still wonder how a guty his size falls backwards so easily... The play where he had a full head of steam and dude grabbed his jersey flung him back was weirs, so was the safety knocking him back near the goal line 1on1

You're not allowed to say anything to good about any player on this site, unless they are a probowler from another team that we didn't draft or or signed..

You definitely are allowed if you want to. Just because the resident **** talkers have a problem with it shouldn't make you change your opinions.
